Liberty work, when done through the lens of Harmonized Horsemanship, is not about tricks, control, or creating a horse who never leaves you.
It is about energy.
Mutual respect.
Soul-to-soul connection.
This one-day clinic is designed for horse and human pairs who want to begin exploring liberty as a connective, relationship-building practice outside of riding. Liberty in this program does not produce blind obedience. It creates dialogue. Choice. Curiosity. A horse who participates because they want to, not because they have to.
Each horse will begin in a different place, so no specific skills are guaranteed. You will, however, learn practical training techniques and foundational exercises that help your horse understand how to orient to you without halters or lead ropes.
Depending on where your horse is starting, you may work on:
• Side-by-Side Walk – Teaching your horse to walk beside you freely, without equipment
• The Funnel – Helping your horse find comfort orienting to you with two eyes and two ears
• Find the Human – Beginning the process of teaching your horse to seek you out and return when they leave
• Lateral Shifts – Teaching your horse to track you and stay mentally connected as you move
Each participant will receive a private one-on-one session with Jessica while auditors and fellow participants observe and learn. Observation is a powerful part of the process, and you will gain insight from every horse worked that day.
This clinic is for those who want something playful, meaningful, and connective to do with their horses beyond the saddle.
Horses must be over 2 years of age to participate.
Participant spots: $175
Auditor spots: $40

If your horse is not comfortable standing tied at the trailer, you may request a specific time slot, arrive shortly before your session, and leave afterward!
Liberty is not about making your horse stay.
It is about becoming someone worth staying with.
If the high of the day is not above 30º, this clinic will be postponed to a later date. Customers will be notified via text or email in the event of postponement
