CONFIDENCE, CLARITY, & CONNECTION
INTUITIVE HORSEMANSHIP FOR THE REAL WORLD
A 16-week mentorship for people who want to move beyond simply teaching their horse what to do and learn how to truly understand, communicate with, and respond to the horse in front of them.
JANUARY 6 THROUGH APRIL 28, 2027
What if you could understand what your horse was trying to tell you?
So much of traditional horse training focuses on teaching horses what to do. But what if you learned how to truly understand the horse in front of you first?
What if you could recognize the state of their nervous system, understand what their behavior is communicating, and confidently choose what to do next without depending on a rigid formula?
Confidence, Clarity & Connection is a 16-week mentorship for horse people who want to move beyond simply completing exercises or achieving obedience. You will learn how to observe your horse more clearly, understand how they experience interactions with humans, strengthen your feel and intuition, and carry that relationship into movement, saddling, and ridden work.
This mentorship is not designed to create a relationship that only works when everything is calm, controlled, and going according to plan. Throughout every part of the program, you will learn how to navigate tension, uncertainty, fear, resistance, and conflict without abandoning yourself, silencing your horse, or losing the relationship you have worked to build.
Four Core Components
SEE THE HORSE IN FRONT OF YOU
Learn how to evaluate your horse's nervous-system state, emotional well-being, physical comfort, and capacity for learning so you can respond to the horse who is actually present that day.DEVELOP FEEL, INTUITION, AND CONFIDENT DECISION-MAKING
Learn to feel energy, recognize subtle communication, and strengthen your intuitive awareness. Develop the skills to confidently choose what to do next based on inner knowing and intuitive guidance rather than relying solely on rigid methods, prescribed steps, or someone else's formula.CHANGE HOW YOUR HORSE EXPERIENCES YOU
Positively influence your horse's relationship with touch, handling, movement, training, and human interaction. Learn how to build safety and positive associations without avoiding boundaries, discomfort, or necessary conversations.CARRY THE RELATIONSHIP INTO REAL-WORLD WORK
Carry positive associations with humans, work, movement, and togetherness into saddling and ridden work, or other higher-intensity applications. Learn how to preserve two-way communication and connection while helping yourself and your horse navigate the added responsibility and pressure of a ridden or real-world relationship.
What You’ll Learn
Separate what you objectively observe from the story you attach to it
Recognize regulation, activation, freeze, shutdown, and changing capacity for learning
Consider emotional well-being and physical comfort when evaluating behavior
Understand how your horse currently experiences touch, handling, movement, tack, training, and togetherness
Build positive associations without avoiding boundaries or difficult conversations
Notice subtle changes in breath, posture, expression, tension, attention, and energy
Develop intuition while learning to distinguish inner knowing from fear, urgency, expectation, or projection
Confidently choose a next step, receive your horse's answer, and adjust when needed
Carry familiar communication into saddling, mounting, and ridden work
Stay in relationship through uncertainty, resistance, activation, and conflict
Recognize when to continue, simplify, pause, change direction, return to the ground, or stop
Exercises & Practices
This is not a rigid sequence of exercises.
You will learn a collection of practices that can be selected and adapted based on the horse in front of you. The focus is not simply on performing each exercise correctly. It is on understanding why you might choose it, what your horse communicates while you use it, and how you decide what to do next.
Practices may include:
Quiet Togetherness
Touch as Conversation, also known as Body Mapping
Rewarding Subtlety: training the human eye to notice small shifts from horses
How to Introduce Objects, Tack, and Other New Experiences
Softness at the Poll
Mindful Movement and Groundwork Exercises
Human Emotional Awareness and Regulation
Mounting as a Conversation
Rider breathing and body-awareness practices
Carrying familiar groundwork communication into the saddle
How it Works & Schedule
Live Teaching and Case Coaching
The cohort will meet for seven live virtual calls. Calls include educational material, participant questions, video or case discussion, preparation for the next stage of the curriculum, and clear practices to explore with your horse.
Rather than simply giving you an answer, case coaching will help you learn how to observe available information, consider multiple options, make a thoughtful choice, and use your horse's response to guide what happens next.
Practice and Community
The spacious 16-week format gives you time to apply what you learn without rushing from one lesson to the next. Participants may share unlimited videos for peer learning and discussion throughout the program in an exclusive WhatsApp community.
